SEEKERS OF THE BAT

Not sure exactly what is going on here, but it looks like most major versions of Batman are accounted for. So weird to see because Batman does not sleep.  Batman is always vigilant. In the night. Watching. Not, you know, napping.

At first, I thought this was an artfully done shot of a cosplayer. But it turns out it is part of an art installation by Adrian Tranquilli.

Oh no, Batman has been dosed with the Scarecrow’s fear gas! Or, maybe someone had just a tad too much to drink  for Halloween :)

Hollywood costumed ‘entertainers’ get cracked down on for loitering and soliciting money for pictures. I can hear it now: “Just wait till Commissioner Gordon hears about this.  He’ll have your badge! Do you know who I am? I am the night!”

Here we see a Filipino cosplayer with an excellent recreation of the batsuit from the film ‘The Dark Knight’. By his own admission, he needs to put a little more work into the helmet.

The Batman of Zur-En-Arrh was introduced in a Golden Age story as an alternate Batman from a different planet. However in Grant Morrison’s Batman RIP story arc, he was reintroduced as an emergency backup personality tucked away just in case Bruce Wayne ever lost his mind. Although the garish costume was stitched together out of rags, the Zur-En-Arrh personality says the bright colors indicate absolute confidence. Once again, Batman proves his ‘superpower’ is super preparedness; having a backup plan in the case of any contingency.

This commercial sells what? Not sure, but I’m sold.

Oh no! Batman has been dosed with ‘weapons-grade’ E and the only way to get it out of his system is to… dance all night? Remember to hydrate!

Heh Batman appears to have grown out of his costume.  I hope that’s a light beer he’s holding :)
